Terms of service

These terms apply to every purchase from Open Book Electrician (openbookelectrician.com). The seller is Emanuel Chereji, sole proprietor, trading as Open Book Electrician, Hofmannsthalweg 20, 4030 Linz, Austria (VAT ID ATU83544229), support@openbookelectrician.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What you buy

Our products are digital downloads (PDF files). After your payment goes through, your files are available right away as download links on your order confirmation page, on your order status page and in your confirmation email. We sell to customers in the United States.

2. Your license

Each purchase is for one person: you may read, print and annotate your copy for your own exam preparation, on any of your own devices, and copy its notes into your own code book.

Not allowed: sharing, reselling or giving away the files, posting them publicly online, uploading them to file-sharing sites, using them to teach a class, or presenting them as your own work.

The texts, design and layout are protected by copyright and remain ours. Our guides do not reproduce the National Electrical Code; they point you to locations in your own copy of the 2026 NEC. NEC® and National Electrical Code® are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by NFPA, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or PSI.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars on the product page and at checkout. Payment is handled by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see your full card number. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

4. Refunds

Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, as described in our Refund Policy.

5. What our guides are, and aren’t

Our guides are study resources for the PSI Texas Journeyman Electrician exam. They can’t guarantee an exam result: that depends on your preparation and on the exam. They are not the code, and they are not engineering, legal or code-compliance advice for real installations: for work in the field, follow the code adopted where you work and the decisions of your authority having jurisdiction. Exam rules can change; check the current PSI Candidate Information Bulletin before your exam.

6. Liability

We prepare our products with care. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of the place where you live.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future orders; the version shown at the time of your order applies to it. Questions: support@openbookelectrician.com.
